Hypnotherapy how does it work?

Hypnosis is working with your subconscious mind, the part were we do everyday things without even thinking, for example driving you’re car, performing certain daily tasks, that become second nature to us. In hypnotherapy you are in a completely relaxed state of mind, mentally and physically, and in an altered state of consciousness, brought about by certain techniques. You are always in control and aware of what is going on whilst relaxed, relaxation is the key.

There are four different stages of consciousness, hypnotherapy is working with the stage just before going to sleep the Alpha state, followed by Theta state when in a meditative state or light sleep. When your mind is susceptible and open to suggestion, that in time takes on these new suggestions. Learning new ways of thinking and being.
